You put Jim Halpert in the same sentence as Mr. Darcy and now my brain is broken.

PS: JD and Turk from Scrubs have Guy Love.

Probably doesn't help that you've been watching Colin Firth's Darcy on PBS!

you are speaking a language i do not speak my dear h!a!.

That's because you speak the language of brilliance and I speak the language of make-believe looove.

firstly, i love the huxtables.

secondly, i'm pretty sure winnie was my first crush.

thirdly, i cannot believe (and am consequently) completely disgusted that you quoted the 'bitch' phrase in a repulsive manner...have i taught you nothing? *lots of huffing*

i still heart alice...like whoa.

Oh h!a!...I heart all the same couples except your L Word and West Wing ones as I haven't seen those shows. Your comparison to Anne & Gilbert? Spot on. I just want you. Sigh.

I really like the extravagant use of the semi-colon in the runners up paragraph. Well done.

Broke Bertha, Take it up with Ilene Chaiken. And while you're at it, tell her I said thank you for season 5.

Anne, "I don't want diamond sunburts or marble halls..." /swoon

Jenn, H!A!/; = OTP.

Hello??? Luke and Laura from General Hospital. Of course, I was in 6th grade then. Were you even born?

I agree with Jennie on that one.

Jim/Pam=swoooooooon.

And, ugh, my favorite is Sydney and Vaughn from Alias. I'll admit it and go take my time out in the corner.

Melissa, I know of Luke and Laura, but my granny's soap and thus my mama's soap and thus my soap was Days of Our Lives. Bo and Hope. Patch and Kayla. Stefano and whomever he'd brainwashed that year.

Lindsay, why you sittin' in the corner?

awww, good one with Cliff and Claire! So Cute!
My favorite couple were only a good couple in TV and not real life : Lucy and Ricky : ) Although Fred and Ethel were cute too!
and then Paul and Jamie Buckman!

i'll have to find my tool belt first...

Sarah, Lucy and Ricky were great! In real life they were good for a long, long time. I just watched I Love Lucy on TV Land last weekend. Good stuff.

Broke Bertha, I changed my mind about Ilene. When you see her, tell her I am still pissed as hell about Dana.

I watched Days of Our Lives when I was the designated sibling babysitter growing up. Patch and Kayla were a pretty good storyline; Kayla was a hotty, Patch from the other side of the tracks, insert drama here. Also, he was a cyclops.

Remember Moonlighting? Cybil Sheppard and Bruce Willis? That was some good couple action.

I never watched Moonlighting, but lots of people say that was a great couple. I can't believe you called Patch a cyclops!

really? you're gonna ask me to complain about the ex of my telelationship? i think not.

i do love my lucy.
once they went together to buy the studio, they fought and divorced :(

Bertha, we're not friends anymore.

Sarah, but Wackopedia says they always stayed in love! Even through the divorce!

I've slowly been catching up on The West Wing and finally saw the Josh-Donna Kiss episode this past week! My roommate wondered why I whooped and cheered suddenly on a Thursday at 4 PM. =P I do agree that those two had chemistry that just Worked.

Kudos on suggesting Lois and Clark! I loved the awkward way they started off and how it developed in the later seasons.

Matt Albie and Harriet Hayes: Studio 60
Woody and Kelly: Cheers
Frank and Margaret: M*A*S*H
Edith and Archie: All in the Family
Ralph and Alice: The Honeymooners

The One Where No Ones Ready is a fav of mine, as well as The One With The Embryos (Mz, Chanadler Bong).

Oh, I was an ABC girl....but Sonny and Carly are more my time!

LOIS AND CLARK! LOIS AND CLARK! That was the show that did me in, the first one I ever really loved. I know exactly what you mean. Did it make you as mad as it made me when Teri Hatcher cut her beautiful hair off?

But here are my picks: Mulder and Scully, Luke and Lorelai, (I agree with Jennie..) Turk and J.D., Pam and Jim,I'm just gonna say the entire cast of The Office, and Buffy and Angel. But, really, if we're talking formative here, Mulder and Scully and Lois and Clark made up a great deal of obsession in my younger years (I spent all of high school obsessed with The X-Files). In fact, they're probably the reason why I am still single because I'm still waiting for my very own Mulder to show up. Sadly, that is not a joke.

And then, of course, when I read Pride and Prejudice (in college! I KNOW, I KNOW!) and met Mr. Darcy for the first time, I was doomed.

Scully and Mulder.

Shane McCutcheon and Me.

OMG - you did *not* just mention Patch and Kayla! Remember? Remember that one time before they were a couple when she lifted up his patch and didn't flinch? It was true love.

But seriously - my love for Bette and Tina borders on obsession. They have mad, mad chemistry and I'm so glad it's back. Sorry, Marlee.

"have you lost your vajayjay?!" (adapted from the original alice quotation for the protection of the pg audience)

Dave, the way Lois and Clark went from awkward to crazy in love is something I could watch over and over. And I do. I have the DVDs.

Jeff Both of those Friends episodes are in my top 10! You can't say you're breezy. Saying your breezy negates the breeziness!

Courtney, Sadly I do not know them. I'll try to fund a YouTube tribute video.

Oh, Ashely, come sit over here with me and Jennie. We're both Darcy doomed

Amanda Mae, I need to send you some stills of Shane from S5. You guys are so in love.

Jenny, Oh, Patch. Also, on Bette and Tina, I have just finally embraced my obsession. They really do have the maddest chemistry in the world. Did you know you can watch episode 8 online today for freebies? Also, how cute were Bette and Tina on that bed last night? "Do you have any rock candy?" "No, but I have some pot." Sigh.

Bertha, Alice is all yours. She's making me crazy this year.

Ok, so I started reading the Collective, being a friend of Kat and all. Now, I've realized after reading your description of Pam and Jim that you and I are actually the same person. Well, truthfully, I realized that after reading of your love of Lois and Clark.

Hi, Alex. I am so glad we're the same person. You go to work for me tomorrow, yeah?

see? this is why i like my friends. they're all actually the same person ;)

What about Balkie Bartokomous and Cousin Larry from Perfect Strangers?

Or am I the only one who remembers that show? I know they were cousins, but they definitely had some on-screen chemistry.

Much like my best friend found her home last night at Mohegan Sun, stationed between the Coach store and the Tiffany's store, I think I just found my home right here. On the internet. My home is way bigger than hers.

Excellent choices, truly! I now want to leave work and just go home to watch some really awesome TV!

GSR, I've never told anyone this, but for a long time I suspected my dad wasn't my dad, but that my mom's first cousin was my dad. But then it turned out that I look just like my dad and think just like my dad and walk just like my dad. But thank you for bringing up that very painful part of my childhood.

S, Oh, I am so glad you've found your home here. Kat! is the one who always has to cook at Collective HQ. And I always have to do the dishes. Maybe you could share the dish duty with me?
