i'm with amy, i refuse to lol caption until you wear the tights.

At first, I thought you were wearing no T-shirt under the cape in the childhood photo set. And then, when the current set had no purple tights? I just had to stop looking.

I feel like I should come up with a few lines to the tune of "I'm a Little Teapot" but as it is, I've got nothing.

Hey, if enough of us vote for the purple tights, does that mean you have to wear them on Friday?

vahid, i'm going to go with yes.

TIGHTS! TIGHTS! TIGHTS!

I love you people beyond normal, but no frakkin way on the purple tights!

Oh shit, I totally forgot this was the topic this week. A) I suck at life and B) I need to go through my pictures.

I cannot think of a caption, try though I may, but I this picture reminds me of the Delmore Schwartz poem "I Am Cherry Alive":

"I am cherry alive," the little girl sang,
"Each morning I am something new:
I am apple, I am plum, I am just as excited
As the boys who made the Hollowe'en bang:
I am tree, I am cat, I am blossom too:
When I like, if I like, I can be someone new,
Someone very old, a witch in a zoo:
I can be someone else whenever I think who,
And I want to be everything sometimes too:
And the peach has a pit and I know that too,
And I put it in along with everything
To make the grown-ups laugh whenever I sing:
And I sing: It is true; It is untrue;
I know, I know, the true is untrue,
The peach has a pit,
The pit has a peach:
And both may be wrong
When I sing my song,
But I don't tell the grown-ups: because it is sad,
And I want them to laugh just like I do
Because they grew up
And forgot what they knew
And they are sure
I will forget it some day, too.
They are wrong. They are wrong.
When I sang my song, I knew, I knew!
I am red, I am gold,
I am green, I am blue,
I will always be me,
I will always be new!

Hello, Collective.

Scott, that is a perfect poem.

Mah wingspan: let me show u it.

These are amazing, Heather Anne. I love them. A happy dog in each one, too.

The dog in the first picture is named Skeeter! She was my dog for from when I was eight until I was twenty-one. She was a great dog.

Peer pressure is a powerful force. I'm joining with the "on strike until we see the purple tights pics" crowd.

I am so happy right now.

Also, for the second one, Invisible Weight of the World.

I'm more intimidated by the first picture because, generally, if a person is willing to wear purple tights, they're also willing to use a bat-erang on your villainous ass.

Am I supposed to caption the new ones or the old ones or both. Also, I'm going to be anti-peer pressure and say that you totally don't have to wear those tights. Eegads.

OMG! IT'S A DORKETTE!

Golly, gee, now I can see why you and Abigail love one another! OMG. This is too good.

Sally saying OMG reminds me of those Gossip Girls posters that say OMFG.

For all your slavish attention to detail, Margaret is shaking the wrong paw!

there are no tights. Slavish is not the right word.

Alas, the tights would only come up to the knees. I would truly pay money for said picture. Talking big bucks here!

I am quite confident I can find tights that color in one of the finer neighborhoods around. And, they would fit.

Amanda Mae, although I know the name "Gossip Girls", I don't know who they are/were. Yes, I've lived in a cave for a very long time.

But, I imagine they're saying it with the same inflection as i do. I do try to keep my posting to PG ratings, thus, no "F-ins" in my OMG. :)

i'm almost certain that you could locate purple running tights at a sportswear store. also, then you could wear them again and thus, they would be an economical purchase. :)

American Apparel definitely has purple tights. Don't ask me how I know.

Abigail, your mom doesn't know what Gossip Girls is?
