Lovely liturgy. I'd love to use it for Maundy Thursday as our Call to Worship. You language brings all the potent images of this night to life.

Your prayer? poem Sounds Very Dark to me. Concentrating on the Minor theme and missing the Real Message of this season, which is Jesus Christ gave us The greatest gift of all times!!!
We all, are or have been dead in our sins!
but if you accept Jesus as your savior by asking forgivness, You will remove the blackness in your life, better yet You'll one day get to live in a sinless world with a new body that will never grow old and be in God's presence for ever. All because of Jesus Sacrfice at the Cross!! and because he Arose from the dead!!

Powerful images that do a great job of pulling the various components of this evening's liturgy into a beautiful wholeness.
I have taken the liberty of adapting this into a responsive reading (which it may be already)and we will use it this evening at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

For more than a week I've been struggling to let a Maundy Thursday prayer emerge, and the words have simply refused to form. Then I came across your beautiful prayer, and I realized you had already written what I was searching for. Thank you so much for sharing your gifts.
