Gravatar A friend of mine said that a good relationship was one in which your brand of crazy is compatible with someone else's. I think that's just as true for congregations.

Gravatar my cynical answer: If you can sell the book, you can define it.

Gravatar Read some of the Natural Church Development stuff online. That will give you a place to start!

Gravatar is is loving to each other and to outsiders ...

Gravatar I'm with Lorna. Love for each other and neighbor. Well, add love for God. That would include respect for His Word.

Gravatar Would you please take a look at my website for possible consideration of a book review? I would love your opinion...
Thanks,
Kimberly

Gravatar Other statistical factors that you might want to consider: 1) Is it a 1st church in a rural county seat town? In our conference that inflates membership. So there is a potential skew for the ratio of membership to worship attendance 2) In a more populated area you may want to look at zip codes or census tracts instead of county demographic info. 3) Is there a strong preference for another denomination? i.e. was the town (again, particularly if rural) settled by Lutherans, Catholics, etc?
