Yo Jack! AllHipHop.com is not only mentioned in the post, but the link is RIGHT THERE in your face! Many news oriented weblogs typically take paragraphs from stories they are sharing or commenting on. I usually try to use yellow text or "italicize" when taking direct chunks. But sometimes (as in this case) it's not needed... unless you really feel I need to take you by the hand and italicize everything...
I don't care if you put it in yellow, red or blue, as long as I can read it. You right, you have the link there, so what's up with stoopid Jack?
If you're lifting text from another source it should ALWAYS be indicated.
Otherwise, it looks like you're passing it off as your own writing.
Blockquote or italics are my preference.
I stopped my blog 'coz of the same crap. But I see lots of other blogs where they don't even bother with a link, they pass it off as their own and NOBODY SAYS ANYTHING TO OR ABOUT THEM! WHY are certian Blogs and Bloggers held up as "HOLIER THAN THOU?"
