I'm lucky in that my children are healthy, my husband is healthy and employed well, we meet our bills and then a bit more, we have a lovely new house in a neighborhood very close to our parish, we're involved in the parish community where we feel accepted and welcomed; Really, we lack for nothing, except more time to do all the things we'd like to do.
So, why then, do I feel so blue?
Not sure.
But I'm grateful for all my blessings and thank God for them daily.
Life and health, faith and family, good friends, the Internet, our home and health insurance, my husband's job, a healthy car and money to put gas in it,freedom and liberty in this great country of ours. I am also thankful for the people who work so hard to keep us safe and defend our freedoms. I am thankful that the terrorists have not come back. I am thankful that my son is finally getting the help and opportunities he needs, and for the wonderful people who work in his school. What else? oh little things like tea and milk to put in it, our little coffee shop down the street, our piano, medication to help us when we need it. I could go on for pages but must get over to the parents for dinner.
