Gravatar awh you are adorable.

and thank you so much for sharing the molly letter the other day. that got to me so much. good tears. amazing awesome story/example. "i held my head higher." wow, so good.

and the liver comment made me giggle.

for most of my life, i thought something was true because it was always the case with my parents and grandparents. when i was an adult and at "wendy's" one time, i finally learned wow, really, i can choose to have chili AND a burger in the same meal??? ((smiles)). my parents and grandparents had always said it was either or. it cracked me up when as an adult, it finally clicked, hey i can have both if i want to (cause i am paying for it). fun observation about a memory of what someone tells you when you are a kid.

happy friday girl, kathleen

Gravatar I always wondered what happens in In Service meetings! I want to thank you for Friday Fragments- it saves me on Friday- I wish I could use it every day!

Gravatar My mom was an elementary principal for years... she ALWAYS said the teachers were WAY worse in meetings about talking than ANY class she had ever taught....

Gravatar Posted my Friday Fragments, didn't forget this week or at least didn't get too busy. I am going to check out the blogs you recommended now. Have a good weekend!

Gravatar that cooking liver story is classic, thanks for sharing the other links!

Gravatar I think the reason teachers talk so much at inservices is because the presenters don't use "best practices" for teaching them; they stand up in the front of the room and talk and talk and talk, not practicing what they preach. They also don't call people out like they should. I wonder why.

Gravatar Thank you for linking to my abortion story.
