The founder and major mouthpiece of Snap is a social worker. In remembering her harse criticism of the Cardinal's actions (based on the information he had at the time), I couldn't help but reflect on the challenges and mistakes we social workers make in protection of children. We do our best to assess and act in the best interest of the child, but inevitably we miss the mark at times. To date, I have-to my knowledge-not erred in a way in assessing a child abuse/neglect situation, but I would be arrogant in assuming that I never will. I wonder what Ms. Blaine's track record is vs a vs her own work and how she knows that she will not err just like the rest of us.

I was at a Catholic High-school a few years ago in Chicago and heard Cardinal Francis George say in a Question& Answer Session that He would not deny Pro-aborts Holy Communion- then He said that America as we know it will not be here in 50 years!
I'm still trying to understand why such a holy man can not see the church's stance which is so clearly defined.
It scares me that he is the head of the USCCB and is not in communion with the Church.
I pray that He will become Obedient to the Holy Father and enforce Canon 915.
This guy has been covering up church pedophilia since he negotiated a deal to get his order out of canada . You are doing a disservice to our crucified Lord who said , "it would be better that a millstone be placed around your neck and thrown into the sea than to harm one of my little ones" ! My guess is that the person who runs this blog is opus dei , what does that tell you ?
