To Cardinal George:
Hillary Clinton is going to speak Sunday at the luncheon. She is a politician. She is looking for votes. She approves of partial birth abortion.
It would be the courageous thing, the moral thing to do if you would stand up for the principles of the Catholic Church and disallow her appearance.

I share in your frustration, and wonder why things like this are allowed to go-on(i.e. Fr. Pfleger's line of guests at St. Sabina) , despite it's clear confict of Catholic teaching. In this case, Cardinal George has some concerns over Clinton's stop. Here is the article. I don't know exactly why there is not a more hard-line in this and other incidents, but I believe there is a reason behind it.
Congratulations to Cardinal George for ten quality years of faithful service :-D
I am very thankful to God that we have had such a steadfast leader and pastor. I hope Cardinal George will stay with us for many more years. His is a kind of intellectual and pastoral approach the Church needs today to reach out to society and convey real meaning in the lives of people. The Archdiocese truly has been very fortunate. I look forward to becoming more enlightened by his writing and words. Peace.
