Jody, if you get this soon, Fox News is doing a special on the Terri Schiavo case.

Gravatar Hi Jody,

Here is an idea on the matter whose time may have come: offer to pay the husband to release the custody of Terri back to her parents: http://info-theory.blogspot.com/...edge- drive.html

It has the virtue of being simple.

Gravatar Michael has not been willing to do this before and I doubt he will now. This has become a matter of pride and vengence against the Schindlers for him.

If you would like to pledge money to Terri Schiavo, either submit it to her parents at Fight4Terri.com or go to BlogsforTerri.com where they are beginning an advertising campaign against Terri's feeding tube removal.

Gravatar Jody, found an awesome article on Terri Sciavo's situation and what it means for not just her, but for all of us as a society. Go to my blog and check it out.

Gravatar I am excited as well Jody. It's beginning to look slightly optimistic. My hope is that one day Michael will be found out.

Gravatar Jody, you've finally inspired me to Blog for Terri. Last post tonight at my place.

Thanks. This is just too important to be ignored.

Gravatar Jody,

Gravatar I stumbled onto your site from Darlene's, I'm also a fan of Blogs for Terri. Let's hope our voices have the desired effect....

Gravatar Thank you Jody for this great directory!

I am posting this on several sites - just an idea:

This morning I awoke, exhausted still, not resting enough as I pray for Terri. I phoned the Florida State Senator offices requesting they change their vote on the bill for Terri's life, and faxed a message to President Bush, requesting that he take Terri into protective custody if he could and thanking him for his heart and all that he has done to try to help and save her life. I thought about if there was anything else that I could do.

I thought of one more thing:
I phoned the US Court of Appeals, 11th Circuit in Atlanta at (404) 335-6100, and simply requested to leave a message for the Hon. J.L. Edmonson, the Chief Judge of the court. The woman at the other end was polite, courteous, even kind and asked me what message I would like her to relay. I just said that I would ask the Hon. Edmonson to please allow Terri's feeding tube to be restored, while the appeals court considers the entire case concerning Terri. The woman I spoke with said thank you, and that she would pass my message on.

I thought that perhaps all of us might call and leave a similar message for the appeals court.

Thanks.

Gravatar It is very evident that after Terri spent two years in her “broken” state of consciousness that here husband was ready to “dispose” of her. He had grown tired of his vows of “for better or worse” and was plotting to engage the “till death do us part” clause of the contract.

Gravatar Thanks to all of you for fighting the good fight. "Right", "Left", isn't the issue.

Gravatar Jody, my apologies but I lost your excellent comment at my website when I did a haloscan upgrade :-( Just letting you know so you don't think I just deleted it.

Gravatar Judge Greer's email is courts@jud6.com

I don't want to sound pessimistic, because Terri is fighting unbelievably. However, now is the time to petition him to show mercy on the Schindlers in the event that Terri dies and to give the family possession of her body for burial.

It's within his discretion to show mercy. It's time he did.

Gravatar Terri Schiavo is being denied nutrition for one reason - she doesn’t want to live in this medical state where her life has been a living hell for the past 15 years. The failure of the Schindler family to accept death as not the end of ones life, but a new beginning in God’s divine kingdom, can only be driven from the motive of complete selfishness and therefore denying their daughter the right to move to a better place. The most insensitive and un-Chrsitian thing anyone could do to another human being is to force someone to live in a way that there is no quality of life left whatsoever just because they don’t want to see them go. I feel sorry for the Schindlers, but I must say that I have lost three loved ones during my short 51 year life where their artificial life-saving methods were discontinued out of respect for their well-being, their own wishes, and trusting that it was now time for God to take care of them where their bodies will then be free from all illness and defects. I think that Terri’s soul has been trapped between Heaven and Earth unnecessarily for too long because of selfishness. The Schindlers lost their daughter 15 years ago and have refused to accept that it was most likely God’s will. The religious right-wing seem to be trying their best to prevent people from uniting with God, using the name of Christ for promoting their own political agenda through deception and adding their own twists contrary to what Jesus actually taught. That, my friends, is blasphemy - the ONLY unforgivable sin. This issue is not about the Schindler family, nor is it about Michael Schiavo. It's about Terri and what she might want. Personally, I'd rather be in Heaven than to be alive on this Earth unable to wait on myself. This is not about politics either and the parents dragging their daughter through the mud of a lengthy litigation just because they don't want to see her go, is selfish, but sad too. Please allow Terri to pass from this world in peace where she will unite with the Lord in Heaven and remember that this is what most Americans would also want, as well as the Lord Himself. I’ll always pray for her, her parents, and everyone who has affected her life for better and for worse, whether I agree with them or not. That’s what Jesus taught us and how we also must commemorate His ministry before His death during this holy weekend. “Do unto others as you would have them to do unto you”. A great philosophy in the Bible from the wisdom of the Lord called “The Golden Rule”. My prayers are ongoing for Terri. Bless her heart and soul forever!
