Gravatar Carin this is a good one. You forgot a very important Saturday morning Routine, shopping at Eastern Market.

(Lafayette for me too)

Gravatar Well I am a hometown Philadelphia "burbs" gal - I grew up in Media, PA
but now reside on the "mainline" in Radnor/Wayne. So...I'll mix it in.

#1. Philadelphia is filled with history.
I love being down town and knowing our founding fathers were "there"..liberty bell, Independance hall... it's so cool..
#2.. Nothing beats a Phila Cheesesteak.
and or soft pretzel - after cruising south street, or a hometown game.
Flyers, Eagles, or Phillies.. or concert. UMMM

#3.. moving on to the burbs where I am it's so pretty here, and the farmers market that is open W, F, or Sat.
(lots of shops, hills valleys) gorgeous old homes with history.
and Valley Forge National park.. again gorgeous and you think WOW..
#4.. being two hours from DC, NYC, and the ocean.. you can be in atlantic city in one hour flat and any of the gorgeous "Jersey" shore beaches in two hours, and or DE..

I am a smitten east coast snob however found love in Ohio too in a charming town.. and hated living in N NJ..
my heart is always here though.

Gravatar Carin, that link for the Easter Market might be a bad link.

Gravatar You forgot the Red Wings!
