Seems like you do not really like their food wor. 
I think it is ok, except for the high price. So, would not be my frequent dining place.

You could have save up by ordering plain porridge :P RM4 for the same portion minus the few pieces of intestine XD

on the contrast, I was surprised at how tasty their char siew and siew yoke are.
i had mine at the 1Utama's outlet, without much expectation. and the wantan's GOOD. firm, with 2 prawns in each.

and totally agree with yr verdict lohh..SALTY!
Even the wan tan mee was so-so and yet ppl keep raving abt it.
As for the congee, nothing spec lohh..and ther were hardly any "liow"..one big bowl of "chook" for RM12!!

It was your lucky day! We went there once and never return. Not value for money, not even up to standard.
Try to let the congee sit for a while you will see something different. The wantan mee is too springy, the roast pork tasted weird and the roast duck was hard, and the carrot cake like you would put it "char kah sua sua one"
That is why till now we never post! You are damn lucky "char boh"!
The durian smell is from deep fried durian pancake. According to my aunt and cousin sis, it tasted good. I dunno la.. I don't take durian one :P

but frankly speaking, the wanton has nothing special, just wanton lo..

visited once and i love this restaurant a lot. but it is rather noisy. food wise, delicious. just dislike their wanton noodles which has too strong of lye water
Been to Canton-I in The Gardens, KL once. It was really good. Love their egg tarts. The Sweetened Ground Peanut Puree looks good, gonna visit them again next time!
i felt the peanut puree taste just like the 1 we buy from supermarket nia, cooked by perhaps some junior chefs. wan to eat wanton and peanut puree, recommend u some where when i see u online.
I had read many -ve reviews about this restaurant. But I personally find that the standard is above average esp the egg tart.

Yes they do serve a durian dessert but I forgot its name d... can try it out next time!
not the durian dish lah... most probably is the uncle that sit behind you that boom with "durian" fart as now is the durian season. LOL.....No "Shit" Leftover, by the time go back home will be shitting left in the bowl.
My friend told me that their 'siew mai' is good. I have not tried that in Canton-I.
