Gravatar I love and miss the "digestables" lorna-dunne type cookies that we got in Ireland once. The only other world travel food I brought home with me (and still haven't eaten-and won't now that it's 6 years old) came from South Africa. It was in a jar and it was called Garlic-o-Butt. It was butter with garlic in it. That will have to be a crack me up Saturday post some time for sure!

Gravatar I swear they sell Fanta in Texas. And I've seen the annoying ads for it on TV....maybe they just don't sell it in Canada?

Gravatar Tee hee, glad you like it! I thought it was funny that the label was all in Polish, yet I found it in a predominantly Italian grocery store. Oh the multiculturalness of the Big Smoke is fun sometimes.

Gravatar Oranga Fanta: worldwide favorite.

Gravatar how nice!

Gravatar I'm late to your Thanksgiving, but I hope it's been a good one. I LOVE the kitty photos! The toe is looking good, too. I agree about Murphy's law and lifelines. They're screw-up insurance. I can remember drinking Fanta here down South, but I can't remember if I've seen any lately.... now I'm gonna hafta look.

Gravatar I haven't seen Fanta in so many years. Wow, what a time warp when your picture opened up!

Gravatar *really puzzled* we have Orange Fanta and Limonata in Oregon... that's so strange that you guys don't have it north of the border!

Gravatar No Orange Fanta where you are? I'm in the NJ/NY area and we are filthy with Fanta. It's also easy to get the italian lemon soda. Limonata, I think it's called. Enjoy your tasty soda! Happy Thanksgiving!

Gravatar Polish Fanta ))))
We can't get it here either, and France is so close to the UK.
I hope you enjoyed Thanksgiving!
