The Chinchilla felt SO soft. Did you know that a Chinchilla can have up to 17 hairs growing from one hair follicle? When it gets frightened or thinks it is being attacked it can loose a bunch of hair. They do this so that the hair will fly in the attackers face, mouth etc.
