sounds like my car, but it is paid off.
over 170,000 miles, from like 1988 so i have two keys to drive it and unlock it.
no trunk light, during and ice ctorm the door handle ont he passenger side completely broke and you can only open it from inside. *sigh*

I sometimes think cars just KNOW when the last payment is delivered. Then they can begin the long (or short) journey toward disintegration.

My car's a baby compared to yours--we hit 107,000 this week. It's holding up amazingly well, though I did just have to have the brake line replaced because of a leak.

Maybe you should make that last payment a little late and see if it holds on longer waiting for it?

Okay, being realistic...I will try to no longer bitch about my car. Of course I have 43 more payments before it really goes to hell in a handbasket.
