I'm sorry that you are going through this. My SIL is married to an arabic/palestinean guy so I know how it can be. I've heard a lot from his viewpoint on the politics of the middle east - very interesting and a lot of truth there. Personally, I just don't get why a truce can't be called so more people don't have to die? To me it just sounds like an endless path of bloodshed. If one is killed, another must be killed from the other side. Fact is, both religions have claims on the land that is legitimate. I guess because I am an American born and bred, I am used to people of all religions living right next to each other, and no problems. No one has to be enslaved, or forced out - I'm sure I don't understand all the details, but it just hurts me each time someone has to die. (That goes for American/British and Iraqis too).
