You know, I don't want to think of Scientology as a culprit, but my experience with it has made me more cautious.

I knew a guy who was very into such beliefs. He was always grim, which he said was because no one else understands our fate. He was like 19. Way too young to act like he understood the world.

Okay, he was a downer and I dropped him as a friend. However, I am aware not all downers are Scientologists.
