Actually they should honor C.J. Doyle for helping to clean up the mess at Catholic Charities.
In 2002 the President of Catholic Charities, Dr. Joseph Doolin, described his organization as "an externally funded, self-supporting 501(c)(3)corporation benefiting from a Board of Trustees comprised of business and community leaders, including representatives of the three major faith traditions, and client constituencies." In other words he was saying it was an ecumenical, rather than a specifically Catholic, organization. So, change its name to reflect this reality, cut it loose from the Archdiocese and everything should be just fine - particularly as the vast majority of funding already comes from government sources.

Bay Windows - first and formost it is PART of the "GAY LIFE-STYLE" that is FORBIDDEN, by the Holy Father Pope Benedict, to be supported in any way!!!!!! So that move by Hehir deserves this VATICAN ALERT!!!!!!!
Second: Even the name "Bay Window" has a degenerate hidden meaning behind it. The Catholic Church should not support that.
Third: Wasn't the Bay Windows associated with those web sites that were trying to ruin the personal lives of any person who signed the petition in support of Traditional Marriage such as "Know thy neighbor"? Remember those creeps? I recall the threats and the smear jobs. I can't say they ran those attacks out of Bay Windows offices or used their "news organiztion" networks to ruin people - but there were always links (official or not?) to this Bay Windows group by those groups.
Fourth: The Bay Windows is hand delivered to ANYWHERE there are militant homosexuals living - not just the South End. This "gay life-style" rag is given away free all over Boston where an young boy could pick one up and be lured into the foul dark corners of "The South End" to be druged, sodomized, "mentored", "helped", given the liqour, or schooled in the perverted sex techniques illustrated in gay life-style manual "The Little Black Book" that targets school children with lists of gay bars and gay cafes to meet older homosexual men for sex (many or most in the South End).
Fifth: Does Catholic Charites really expect the wild homosexuals lurking the streets of the GAY South End looking for sex and in states of satanic bondage in homosexual bars, bathhouses and cafes and busy on the internet prawling for boy toys to have time to attend this event?
Last: As far as trying to attract the local people in the South End - the vast majority of people there do NOT attend church, they are inflicted with homosexuality, they hate the Church, vote for Ted Kennedy and Barney Frank. So why does Hehir think this is a group to be targeted for a Catholic Event? Why not put a notice in the Cathedral Bullitins? Isn't Fr Hehir familiar with the South End? Why not target the churches in the South End to get the word out? I guess he can't see far from his academic ivy tower.
