I made a phone call several months back to the Columbus Ohio police and told them I had concerns about Eric McFadden of Columbus Ohio and gave them a few details about my concerns and fears that he was a sociopath. They told me I would have to start a process of protection in my own home town and bring the evidence of IP address, posts, emails I had that showed his deeply violent malice to them. At the time, I continued to block the IP addresses he was posting from and he subsequently went away..so I dropped it.
Eventually, he gets tired of running to every Kinkos in town.

This article seems to hit the mark on Wuerl. It would be good to read it in case Wuerl does not stand up to Pelosi. BettNet (the blogger) is not too bad but not very effective. When I feel like eating toast soaked in milk overnight - I read Bettnet.

Fr. Drinin the pro-abort Jesuit priest died today. He recently was one of 2 priests to administer Holy Communion to Nancy Pelosi on her "Celebration tour". His life was an epic tradgedy. Catholic Hospital Must Conform to Catholic Morality, Says British Cardinal
London, Apr. 17, 2007 (LifesiteNews.com/CWN) - Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O’Connor, the senior prelate of the Catholic Church in England and Wales, has instructed a Catholic hospital to cease in vitro fertilisation treatments, contraception distribution, and abortion referrals.
The Daily Mail reports that the Hospital of St. John and St. Elizabeth in North London, popular with celebrities, will no longer allow any staff members to participate in contraceptive or abortion related activities under a new code of ethics to be instituted starting next month. Bishop George Stack, an auxiliary of Westminster, has been appointed to the ethics committee to ensure that Catholic principles are upheld in the Catholic hospital.
As far back as August 2005, the Vatican had expressed its concerns about the hospital. St. John and St. Elizabeth had come under scrutiny after it began leasing premises to National Health Service physicians, who, as public employees, are obliged to refer for abortions and to prescribe chemical abortifacients and contraceptives.
In 2006, at the request of the Vatican’s Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, a Catholic Labor Peer, Lord Brennan, investigated the situation and in February of the same year informed the cardinal that the hospital was in regular violation of its Catholic ethics code. After an investigation, Lord Brennan said the hospital was referring for abortions and distributing abortifacient drugs such as the morning after pill.
Far from expressing any discomfort at the criticism, the hospital responded defiantly, saying it was committed to an “ecumenical philosophy and was responsible for the care of all.” In March 2006, the hospital argued that it was obliged under British law to refer for abortions.
The new code of ethics will be based on Catholic teaching on the value of human life and sexual morality. In addition to abortion referrals, IVF, and contraception, the hospital will also ban the use of amniocentesis, a test commonly used as a "search and destroy" tool for eliminating handicapped children.
The cardinal wrote to Robin Bridgeman, the chairman of the hospital, “There must be clarity that the hospital, being a Catholic hospital with a distinct vision of what is truly in the interests of human persons, cannot offer its patients, non-Catholic or Catholic, the whole range of services routinely accepted by many in modern secular society as being in a patient's best interest.”

The New England Province of Jesuits, announced today that as of July 29, 2007, the Jesuit order would no longer celebrate Sunday masses at the Church of the Immaculate Conception on Harrison Avenue in the South End; additionally, as of April 20, 2007 the Jesuits will cease to offer daily masses and to run any programs out of its Jesuit Urban Center, located next door.
In making this announcement, Father Regan, the Provincial of the New England Province of Jesuits, said, "In light of many other demands that are being made upon the limited financial resources of the province, and given the considerable expense of maintaining the Church's aging physical plant, the New England province simply can no longer afford the considerable cost of running this ministry. At this point no decision has been made about the future of the buildings.
The Jesuits are committed to doing all that they can to facilitate the relocation of the worshiping community that gathered at the Church for Sunday mass. Father J. Allan Loftus, S.J., the director of the Jesuit Urban Center, will remain on the job until July 29th to assist individuals in matters of transition. Fortunately, there are several other welcoming Catholic communities within a short distance who are eager and willing to meet the pastoral needs of our worshipers.
"Arriving at the conclusion that we must bring to an end such an important apostolic ministry and our Jesuit presence in the South End was an extremely difficult decision that was reached only most reluctantly," said Father Regan. "Jesuits have been in the South End for more than a century and our work there has been an integral component of both the province and the community. It is only natural to think that this decision will be quite hard for some people to accept and will understandably engender many feelings of grief and loss."
Over three hundred and forty Jesuits are members of the New England province which covers all six New England States and has significant apostolic commitments abroad in Jamaica, Jordan and Iraq.

I will also lobby againt Guilliani for president and against Counterfiet Mitt. I will vote for the Pope as a write in or I will write in Sam Brownbach. My vote will be 110% CATHOLIC. I heard Sam Brownbach speak on TV at Boston College bebate with Chris Todd. Brownbach is 100% in line with the Catholic Values that the Vatican Guard is sworn to defend. Chris Tood should be excommunicated. We cannot fear the death of Hillary winning - we can only fear the Lord - Jesus did nto fear death and thus we can not fear the grave consequences of a Hillary win when we refuse to support Guilliani. My guess is that I will be more active distrupting the Guilliani campaign than opposing Hillary. It will be a ton of fun. This "choice" between two pro-aborts Guilliani and Hillary is an example of what the Pope ment when he said that we can choose the lesser of two evils. Bush versus Kerry was an example of when Catholics are forbidden under penalty of mortal sin to vote Bush or put in a write in vote for the Pope or stay home - a vote for Kerry was MORTAL SIN. When Guilliani goes up against Hillary - then we can vote for the lesser of two evils or pick some other policy like health care to guide our vote - BUT A BETTER THING TO DO IS AS CAROL SAID - TO OPPOSE GUILLINI AND STAY HOME ON ELECTION DAY OR WRITE IN A PAPAL VOTE OR VOTE FOR CAROL MCKINLEY OR VOTE FOR BROWNBACK IN A WRITE-IN VOTE OR WHOEVER ... BUT NOT VOTE FOR EITHER PRO-ABORT. If we are true to our principals - this is a great opportunity to prove that we are Catholic first and Catholic last - NOT partisan republicans. This is also an opportunity to demand a thrid party or to start one. I think Sam Brownback is setting the new Catholic standard that we need for that 3rd party. We do not need a "conservative' party that is pro-gun and anti-Mexican and pro-death penalty and pro-war and pro-life (please note the inconsistencies). Inconsistencies are noted by atheists and secularists and will NOT convert them. Brownback is only for death penalty when we need to protect society such as death for Bin Laden. That is in line with Catholic teachings. Brownback is doing an excellent job articulating our true Catholic values. And even some of us Authentic Catholics need to listen carefully to him for I think he is a saint who is evangelizing our Senate from within and perhaps will help evangelize our nation. It was interesting listening to Chris Dodd's good works and his view on them. Pope Benedict on Wednesday warned Catholic politicians they risked excommunication from the Church and should not receive communion if they support abortion.
It was the first time that the Pope, speaking to reporters aboard the plane taking him on a trip to Brazil, dealt in depth with a controversial topic that has come up in many countries, including the United States, Mexico, and Italy.
The Pope was asked whether he supported Mexican Church leaders threatening to excommunicate leftist parliamentarians who last month voted to legalize abortion in Mexico City.
"Yes, this excommunication was not an arbitrary one but is allowed by Canon (church) law which says that the killing of an innocent child is incompatible with receiving communion, which is receiving the body of Christ," he said.
"They (Mexican Church leaders) did nothing new, surprising or arbitrary. They simply announced publicly what is contained in the law of the Church... which expresses our appreciation for life and that human individuality, human personality is present from the first moment (of life)."
Under Church law, someone who knowingly does or backs something which the Church considers a grave sin, such as abortion, inflicts what is known as "automatic excommunication" on themselves.
The Pope said parliamentarians who vote in favor of abortion have "doubts about the value of life and the beauty of life and even a doubt about the future."
"Selfishness and fear are at the root of (pro-abortion) legislation," he said. "We in the Church have a great struggle to defend life...life is a gift not a threat."

The Pope's comments appear to raise the stakes in the debate over whether Catholic politicians can support abortion or gay marriage and still consider themselves proper Catholics.
In recent months, the
Vatican has been accused of interference in Italy for telling Catholic lawmakers to oppose a draft law that would grant some rights to unwed and gay couples.
During the 2004 presidential election, the U.S. Catholic community was split over whether to support Democratic candidate
John Kerry, himself a Catholic who backed abortion rights.
Some Catholics say they personally would not have an abortion but feel obliged to support a woman's right to choose.
But the Church, which teaches that life begins at the moment of conception and that abortion is murder, says Catholics cannot have it both ways.

Am I the only here who finds Mitt Romney's obsession with his looks troubling? He seems perversely addicted to tanning. Not to mention a seeming obsessiveness with his hair. Surely he must've spent a considerable amount of time primping and preening for the debate.
Many commentators said he looked "Tanned and rested." I find it troubling that a man who wants to be the commander in chief of the United States is more concerned with sleeping and his personal appearance then working the campaign trail.
I also wonder how this extreme sense of self squares with his religion? How can a mormon be allowed to use so many personal products like tanning solutions, hair gel, hair spray. These are obviously not good for you and is, therefore, a terrible violation of his religion's position on not using artificial products on or in ones self.
Like John Kerry and John Edwards I think America needs to re-examine whether or not Mitt Romney truly reflects their values. The amount of time and money spent on his personal appearance is truly a peek inside his soul; a glimpse into the internal machinations of a man who wants to be President.
Even the L.A. Times says that Romney's hair is auditioning for Mt. Rushmore. I wonder why Anne Coulter would endorse such a candidate who Metro-Sexual lifestyle is out of sync with regular, everyday voters who do not lavish such wealth upon themselves.
While we're at it, let's talk about Mitt Romney's teeth. My god are they white. Glaringly so. Do real men even use a tooth brush. Look at Vietnam War Hero, John McCain's gnarled smile. Or the coffee and nicotine stained cemetary flatbush of Giuliani. I can only ascertain the Romney's bright smile must be veneers. Have any of you priced how much veneers cost? Yet another illustrative example of a man who cannot stop spending money on himself.
His suits are obviously of the finest cloth and tailors. His Bruno's are always polished and spit shined. It's as if they've never been worn before. And who is his tailor anyway? How much do those suits cost? I can only assume that the value of his wardrobe is double that of auto worker. What a shame.
Perhaps we should examine his dietary intake and culinary excesses. Maybe next week.

It looks like Fred Thompson will run for president. I am not an expert on Thompson but I got this good news that he is solidly pro-life (article below). Brownback is also great with his "pro-life and whole-life" policy. But Brownback still has not gotten a "gimmic" to win. Guilliani has the 9/11 gimmic (sorry but he USES that tradegy for personal gain and it works unfortunately). Romney has a lie machine that will pump out votes for cash. My gut feeling is that Thompson can beat anybody this this side of Teddy Roosevelt and Ronald Reagan. I KNOW he can win in the odd ball "swing" states like New Jersey and California. I am happy that our Pope has analyzed the soccery of Harry Potter and described it as an anti-Christian subtile seduction of children (Contrary to the creepy soccery child seduction article in the Pilot). I hope this is not a defense of the ROMNEYS. If so then WE are the "FEW". Well she is right that we are a "few" - we are the last 1000-2000 who show up at the MCFL Pro-Life March. Tony Jones: Honest Questions for Mitt Romney
OK, I'll be honest. I'm ambivalent about Mormonism, and, be it Mitt Romney or any other Mormon, I'm ambivalent about the idea of voting for a Mormon. And I'll bet that a lot of Christians, if they're honest too, agree with me.
My ambivalence stems, I suppose, from my ignorance. I'm skeptical of a religion that admonishes its adherents to wear sacred undergarments (Andrew Sullivan caused quite a dust-up when he blogged about this last December), that didn't allow non-whites to be clergy until 1978, and that follows the teachings of Joseph Smith, whose scriptures I find highly dubious. I don't agree with the Mormon teaching that Father, Son, and Spirit are three distinct gods and that the Father and Son currently have bodies, nor with the teaching that only those who achieve the "Celestial Kingdom" will be united with their families in eternity. There's a lot to be dubious about.
But listen, I get it. I know that much of orthodox Christianity is irrational, too: I eat flesh and drink blood every Sunday. As Andrew Sullivan has written compellingly in his recent debates with atheist Sam Harris, orthodox Christianity does require faith, but it does not neccessitate an abandonment of reason. So I'm walking a fine line between what I consider reasonable (orthodox Christianity) and what I consider unreasonable (orthodox Mormonism).
What does require an abandonment of reason is biblical literalism, a.k.a., fundamentalism. And, as with any religion, there are literalist Mormons and non-literalist Mormons - I've met some of each. The non-literalist Mormons tend to roll their eyes and say, "No, of course I don't believe that dark-skinned peoples are cursed by God, even though the Book of Mormon says that." That's pretty much how I respond when someone asks me if I think that homosexuals and adulterers should be put to death, as stated in my holy book.
So this is the question that Romney will have to answer: Are you a literalist in your reading of the Book of Mormon? Thus far, I haven't heard him answer that question. People will ask about his underwear, his view of "dark-skinned people," and his view of homosexuality. What they're really wanting to know is, are you a fundamentalist? It's basically the same question that JFK was asked about his relationship with the Vatican.

When Romney was heckled last week, he responded by saying, "We need a person of faith to lead the country." For that, he received a standing ovation from his audience. But that statement is nearly meaningless, for even Sam Harris is a person of faith. Strident, angry, atheistic faith - a faith in human reason alone.
We all have faith; it's part and parcel of the human condition. So, indeed, a person of faith will be our next president. But, what fashion of faith? Strident fundamentalism or thoughtful centrism?

New Vatican Document Affirms Centrality of Catholic Church
Vatican, Jul. 10, 2007 (CWNews.com) - The Vatican has issued a new doctrinal statement confirming the essential role of the Catholic Church in God's plan for salvation.
The short document from the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (CDF), presented in question-and-answer format, addresses questions about the teaching of the Second Vatican Council that the Church founded by Jesus Christ "subsists" in the Catholic Church.
The CDF affirms that while other Christian bodies can play a role in bringing people to salvation, it is in the Catholic Church that "the Church of Christ is concretely found on this earth." The Vatican document makes a further distinction between Orthodox churches that have preserved valid sacraments, and should be recognized as "sister churches," and Protestant groups that have not preserved the Eucharistic presence.
The document, entitled "Responses to Some Questions Regarding Certain Aspects of the Doctrine on the Church," is approved by Pope Benedict XVI and signed by Cardinal William Levada and Archbishop Angelo Amato, the prefect and secretary, respectively, of the CDF.
The document opens with the observation that the teachings of Vatican II "contributed in a decisive way to the renewal of Catholic ecclesiology." The teachings of the Council encouraged still further reflection on the nature of the Church, the CDF notes. However, in some cases these reflections have been marred by "erroneous interpretation which in turn give rise to confusion and doubt" about the Church's teaching.

Questions #2 and #3 address the teaching of the conciliar document Lumen Gentium(#
that the Church of Christ "subsists" in the Catholic Church. The CDF document explains: "It is possible, according to Catholic doctrine, to affirm correctly that the Church of Christ is present and operative in the churches and ecclesial Communities not yet fully in communion with the Catholic Church, on account of the elements of sanctification and truth that are present in them." Nevertheless, only the Catholic Church is characterized by identifying marks of Christ's Church: being one, holy, catholic, and apostolic.
The Christian communities separated from the Catholic Church, the CDF continues, "though we believe they suffer from defects, are deprived neither of significance nor importance in the mystery of salvation." These communities can act as instruments of salvation, because of their partial participation in "that fullness of grace and of truth which has been entrusted to the Catholic Church."
In the 4th and 5th questions that complete the document, the CDF draws a clear distinction between the Orthodox and Protestant denominations. The Eastern churches, the document notes, "have true sacraments and above all – because of the apostolic succession – the priesthood and the Eucharist." They are therefore sister churches, even if they fall short of universality because of their separation from the Holy See.
The Protestant communities, on the other hand, "do not enjoy apostolic succession in the sacrament of Orders." Because these communities "have not preserved the genuine and integral substance of the Eucharistic Mystery," the CDF writes, they "cannot, according to Catholic doctrine, be called "churches" in the proper sense.

I hope my reactions are helpful to the Cardinal:
The nun in the photo did not have a habbit on and I don't think such nuns bring conversions.
Social Justice is on the front burner and they are going to prioritize the issues to work on. May I suggest PRO-LIFE for that is the greatest injustice.
Then there is Hehir - I pray for him all the time. WE need his conversion - it is never too late!
Then there were the Mormons the Cardinal met with. It is wrong to hate them or discriminate against Mormons. But I think that the Mormon leadership NEEDS to choose either Mormonism or Christianity. They could start by finally rejecting and banning the hereitcal Book of Mormon and handing out Bibles. I think they are actually ready for that and I wish them luck and welcome them home. The "Mormon Moonies for Romney" did not help the divide between Mormonism and the rest of America.
It drives me nuts to not see anything about the Boston College Problem. I hope the Pope fixes it all by fixing the Jesuit Fr Count (Dracula) Kolvenbach Problem. Maybe that is why nobody is fixing Boston College - it will be fixed from the top down. I hope so.

We can all read in Fr Benedict Groschell's new book that charity is not giving to the poor (that is justice) - it is LOVING your enemy and doing good for them. Today I read that charity can be giving away what we NEED for oursleves while beneloence is the rich giving the excess to the poor (a lesser good). I URGE EVERYONE to buy his book - The Virtuous Life and to see his lecture against the apostates on EWTN. I personally am trying hard to love Fr Hehir, the Lumberjacks, and McBrien. Please join me in praying for them always and sincerely for their happiness, joy, health, life, and especially for faith and conversion for them. That is charity. I wonder if someone prayed for Saul???? Look at all that St Paul did upon his conversion! Satan bites his own tail and Fr Hehir and Fr Kolvenbach and the Jesuits were raised up to brign the Chruch down = but what if they convert!!!!! I agree that the Knights have a long history of good - They were CALLED by the POPE to live out the ORIGINAL GOALS (probalby a slap in the face to the present knights by the Pope) of the Knights of Columbus. As I have said before, the Knights look silly in those outfits. I am sure they were designed to prove to the public that they are no military threat but that is silly! I hope that this new Peace and Justice initiative of Cardinal Sean succeeds. But in the proper Catholic manner (which includes pro-life as a priortiy) of course. When we pro-lifers now try to work with other issues in the local parish we find ourselves working with people who are pro-abortion and pro-gay marriage. They think they are indeed "Catholic" because they help the poor or whatever. But we cannot speak to them about pro-life or traditonal marraige or we will be called bigots by them etc and we are not welcome there. There is no Church unity! So this Peace and Justice initiative must make clear that those liberal apostates are now REQUIRED to work on all the issues (including pro-life and to fight gay marriage and gay adoption) or they are the ones who will be outside the parish group. We must all agree with ALL Catholic values and we must put them into the proper priority status. I could see starting by putting emphasis on the poor or immigration but it MUST be made clear that pro-life and traditional marriage are part of the package deal and ALL must accept that. And as the apostates are slowly brought back into the fold then we bring our NON-STOP pro-life work (going on in other venues) into the social justice initiative more and more until we are running Operation Rescue out of Chruch basements as Jesus would wish. And if some don't like it - there is the Door! But this silencing of pro-life and traditional marriage WITHIN CATHOLIC CHURHCES must end! Obviously Orange County has either lost control of the Judas Democrat and homosexual and abortion activists OR that was the original plan by an apostate to stop pro-life. I just don't see Cardinal Sean as wanting to get rid of pro-life or traditional marriage so he will have to work hard and rule over the Social Justice initiative with an iron fist. So will the Cardinal demand that pro-life and marriage and stopping gay adoptions MUST be part of each parish's "SOCIAL JUSTICE" club being set up in each parish? Or will the pastor make that DEMAND? Will there be civil war in parishes or will the Cardinal and pastors set up a true Catholic program that we can and should ALL follow that includes pro-life and traditional marriage/family? Is anyone willing to tolerate Social Justice parish programs where speaking about and ACTING for pro-life and Catholic marriage/family is SILENCED for the sake of "unity" or whatever?????? Will we be kicked out by pastors for being disruptive, hate-filled, judgemental, anti-gay bigots etc etc? If so - then we will at least know to give our money someplace else. Then we will know! One final thought and I think the Vatican Guard will retire from this - I I agree with Cardinal Ratzinger when he said a few years ago that the USCCBs is not part of the original plan of Jesus and collegiality leads to paralysis. We got paralysis!

And what is that styule of making the Sign of the Cross at Communion? People sort of scratch their thoat instead of touching their belly and shoulders. Who teaches them? Obviously not holy nuns! I had tears and goose bumps watching this. Do you recall the AWE the people had in Church once upon a time? The Pope has a plan and the Pope has a remedy!

MAYBE it was made by one of the breakaway French group or maybe it was made for those who understand the full background and will NOT be mislead that Pope Paul VI is the enemy (as it appears in the video) - he was not the enemy - He was the Holy Father. Massachusetts Bishop Issues Warning to Jesuit College
Worcester, Oct. 11, 2007 (CWNews.com) - A Massachusetts bishop has strongly criticized a Jesuit-run college in his diocese, hinting that he could withdraw the school's recognition as a Catholic institution.
Bishop Robert McManus of Worcester issued a statement on October 10, responding to protests from lay Catholics about plans for a conference at the College of the Holy Cross in which Planned Parenthood and NARAL Pro-Choice Massachusetts will make presentations. Siding with the pro-life protestors, Bishop McManus disclosed that he had urged Holy Cross to cancel the conference plans.
The organizations participating in the scheduled event, the bishop said, "promote positions on artificial contraception and abortion that are contrary to the moral teachings of the Catholic Church." Saying that the Church's position on key issues involving respect for life is "manifestly clear," he questioned why a Catholic school would offer these groups a forum. The bishop warned that the conference could create a "situation of offering scandal understood in its proper theological sense, i.e. an attitude or behavior which leads another to do evil." By canceling the conference, he said, Holy Cross would not infringe upon academic freedom, but would "make unambiguously clear the Catholic identity and mission of the College of the Holy Cross."
Bishop McManus noted that as the head of the Worcester diocese in which Holy Cross is located he has the "pastoral and canonical responsibility to determine what institutions can properly call themselves Catholic.” He added: "This is a duty that I do not take lightly…"
The bishop concluded his public statement by expressing his "fervent wish" that Holy Cross would cancel plans for the conference, "so that the college can continue to be recognized as a Catholic institution committed to promoting the moral teaching of the Roman Catholic Church."

Archbishop Explains Admonishment of Pro-abortion Kansas Governor
Kansas City, May 28, 2008 (CNA).- Archbishop of Kansas City Joseph F. Naumann has further explained the motives for his public admonishment of Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius for her support for legal abortion. The archbishop’s May 9 column, citing her recent veto of an abortion law reform bill passed by the Kansas legislature, had warned Governor Sebelius not to present herself for Holy Communion until she has publicly repented.
Writing in his column for the archdiocesan newspaper The Leaven, Archbishop Naumann repeated that Governor Sebelius must seek “to repair the public scandal of her long-standing support for legalized abortion.” He said he had personally received a number of letters both in favor and opposed to his actions regarding the governor. The archbishop explained that he was using his column to collectively respond to some of the critical letters he had received.
Addressing the question of why Governor Sebelius was “singled out” for public discipline, when others in elective office hold positions similar to hers, the archbishop said the governor holds the highest elective office in Kansas, making her “the most prominent Catholic in public life.”
Archbishop Naumann noted that his admonishments to the governor had begun before her veto of new abortion restrictions and added that his public request to her was not about any one action, but rather concerned her “30-year history of advocating and acting in support of legalized abortion.”
The archbishop described why the governor’s support for permissive abortion laws is scandalous, explaining that giving scandal means more than shocking or upsetting others. He said scandal is instead when “one’s action leads someone else to sin. Scandal is an attitude or behavior which leads another to do evil.” He also reiterated Catholic teaching that Catholics can receive Holy Communion only when free from mortal sin, saying that the bishop can intervene to stop scandalous actions both for the good of the sinning individual and to protect others from being misled.
Archbishop Naumann said Governor Sebelius’ support for abortion leads others to question the “moral gravity” of abortion. The governor’s continued reception of Holy Communion, coupled with her support for legalized abortion, convey the erroneous message that, “You can be a good Catholic and support legalized abortion,” he wrote.
The archbishop insisted that no one has asked the governor to ignore her oath of office, but rather that Governor Sebelius, as a Catholic, was obligated both to oppose “laws and judicial decisions that fail to protect the lives of the innocent” and to “do all in her power to work to change the law.” He said the governor must extend to the unborn the “maximum protection possible” under the limitations imposed by the Supreme Court.
