Why is no one talking about John Stossel? Talk about being widely recognized
I think the whole idea of a VP selection is that it should bring something that the Pres candidate does not have, or should be inpeachment insurance (aka Dan Quayle)
So Paul should certainly look for a well-known northeastern governor, but I don't think he needs another constitutionalist. A strong military figure like Downing or Batiste (even the perception thereof - say Clint Eastwood perhaps), or Walter Williams, Thomas Sowell.
Of course, the dream Veep candidate for Ron Paul would be the only who could not only neutralize the main criticism leveled by his detractors, namely that he is some kind of racist, anti-semite, chauvanist pig (he's not, but that's the only thing "they" can find to even faintly tar him with.) but would also bring a certain amount of star power and hipness -- Whoopi Goldberg.

The Judge as VP? I'm all for it. He's just as, if not more, a defender of the Constituion. And even better, a devout Catholic. Warms my heart indeed.
I hate to get off topic, but what do you guys think of the "5th of Novemeber" push for fund rasing? The 5th of Novemeber is a big time Anti-Catholic celebration in England. And I'm feeling a bit uneasy about all this. Either the supporters who are pulling this off are down right moronic about this day, or they don't even care what it really means.
I look at Guy Fawkes as a Catholic hero. Would love to hear what you guys have to say about this.
Like I have said before Dr. Ron Paul could win a big land slide if he know how to manuver 64 mil. quite discipline Catholics. judge Napolitano, a devoted RC is an excelent idea for VP. Furthermore Gen. Peter Pace, RC is also wonderful.
Fantastic ticket---the Doctor and the Judge. I would really like to see Judge Napolitano do some campaigning with Dr. Paul and watch the crowds and the polls go up up up. I will make this a matter of prayer. Any one willingly to agree with me in prayer on this matter?

Here's an excellent idea. Have masses said for Presidential Candidate Ron Paul every Sunday.
Not only would everyone hear his name during mass but he would also be listed in the monthly bulletin.
