Gravatar As a Roman Catholic I am honored to endorse the Presidency of Ron Paul.
HE is the only candidate who stands firmly with Gods principles of life and justice for all.
If those who Democrats,Green Party,Libertarians,Constitutionalist unite behind Dr. Paul there is no doubt he can win the Republican nomination and the Presidency in 2008.

May God be with him to guide, protect and defend him throughout the campaign !!!!

Gravatar Hello, I am Ron Paul's son and I am a Catholic. I think the peace message and pro-life message is important for all Catholics to hear. We are doing great but we have to continue to spread the message of Freedom.
Robert Paul

Gravatar Robert, as a Catholic convert myself, I would be interested in hearing a bit about your journey to the Catholic Church.
Thanks!

Gravatar Hey there! I'm a Catholic for Ron Paul. I am wondering why I haven't seen any more from you! Are you going to keep going? Anyway, we are somewhat like minded, so stop by by blog anytime. See ya @ Daily Paul!

Thanks,

Theodosi

Gravatar This website is a place for ordinary Catholics who are serious about the wholistic body of principles known as the Social Doctrine of the Church to examine how Ron Paul's message and public policy proposals square up against these natural principles.

I'll save you some time:

They don't.

Enjoy trying to square Screw-You Libertarianism with Catholic teaching, just as every other Catholic who has embraced heterodoxy has tried to square his heterodoxy with Catholic teaching.

Gravatar Ernie,

No politician squares completely with Catholic Social Doctrine or with the civil teachings of the Church in general for that matter. That being said, Dr. Paul is most certainly the closest candidate to that ideal present in the current Presidential Race. He rightfully voted against the unjust war against Iraq. No other candidate running now can say that. He rightfully votes pro-life on a consistent basis. Again, perhaps only a few Republicans in the race can claim this. He consistently upholds the rights of families to be the primary educators of their children, based on the other candidates views of the current public education system, no candidate can claim this besides Dr. Paul. The list goes on. Read 'Rerum Novarum', in fact, pick up a copy of the 'Compendium of Catholic Social Doctrine' and please try to make a case that any other candidate in the race is more in line with these principles than Dr. Paul. I wish you luck, you will need it.

Gravatar What would we say to folq who teach:

1. No abortion, not even after one minute
2. No birth control
3. large families for the poor
4. open borders worldwide
5. De facto ultra-Humanism
6. a virulent anti-homosexual agenda

7. all others besides us are Hell-bound
8. don't think for yourselves; we know what you should think.
9. Stem cells are the same thing as a 14 year old or 54 year old person.

10. that a serial child rapist/murderer et al. has "dignity"?

We would politely ask them to leave.

Gravatar I go 100% for RP who sounds more orthodox than many catholics. I wish and hope Catholics vote for him. We have to take the country back from those international bankers who want to enslave and destroy Americans. Only the truth can set us free. Pray for RP.

Gravatar Ron Paul campaign should concentrate and pay more attention to 64 million Catholics. His stands and issues fit right in Catholic doctrine and moral teachings.
Twice Pres. Bush got elected by playing and mesmerizing around with pro-life/moral issues and at that times Catholic had no other choice. Now Ron Paul has them all.
Invite and ask specially Mr. Pat Buchanan,Paul Likoudis, Thomas F. Roeser, Joe Sobran and more from The Wanderer as well as Dale Vree, Michael Rose, Alice Von Hildebrand and more from New Oxford Review, both are conservative Catholic magazines to come and to be campaign advisers.
If Ron P. campaign can incite and maneuver Catholic big crownd support we will overcome the deceptive media and win and take back our country before those international bankers destroy it.

Gravatar I became convinced of Ron Paul's candidacy on my own, based on much research and soul-searching this primary season. He is the only candidate who opposes abortion, the death sentence, and unjust war. He is the only candidate who truly understands the root cause of the plight of the poor and the ailing middle class in this country. I truly believe he is running for my sake and not his own sake.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how Catholics can endorse Ron Paul to our fellow parishioners and even ecumenically to other Christians? Perhaps a Pro-Life tri-fold that summarizes all the candidates and their positions on abortion, death sentence and war? The tri-fold could be stuck on windshield wipers and/or available at a pro-life campaign table after Mass? Is there someone willing to gin up a professional-looking tri-fold and publish it for all of us to use?

Gravatar Fr. David,
Thought you might find this of some interest. Go Ron Paul!
Paul Cody

Gravatar Paul,

Re message to Fr David. Was that in reference to my post concerninga pro-life leaflet or tri-fold? If so, I didn't catch your item of interest but I am very interested.

Also, I am a lay-person ... not ordained!

Thank you,

Gravatar To Dr. Ron Paul: “Physician, heal thyself”

Dr. Ron Paul is not a Roman Catholic, Mr. Paul ignores Jesus Christ in the Blessed Sacrament every Sunday. What benefit is it Our Country if this man is elected? “For what shall it profit a man, if he gain the whole world, and suffer the loss of his soul?” First things first. If he refuses to heal himself how can he heal a nation. You Roman Catholics who vote for Dr. Ron Paul are fooling yourselves.

Gravatar I am a Catholic, pro- life, libertarian and a Ron Paul supporter.
Ron is the only candidate for true conservatives, libertarians, conservative protestants, and traditional Catholics. And I might also add, that Ron Paul, not George W. Bush, is a true Texan possesing the true libertarian Texas spirit.

Gravatar Ron Paul is being shut out of the Jan 6th fox news debate. The debate is being held at St. Anselm college. Email the president of St Anselm and ask him to cancel the debate if Ron Paul is not allowed in.ontact Info:

Gravatar I heartily agree. How can a Catholic college acquiesce in the exclusion of the ONLY candidate of EITHER party who based his opposition to the Iraq war on traditional Christian [i.e., medieval scholastic Catholic] Just War Theory? And what about the tradition of "Benedictine hospitality" that the college boasts about on its website?

Gravatar It is so sick that happened to democracy of this nation. MSM violated any aspects of freedom of speech which shows they are used as tools to oppress and enslave Americans.Wake up and stand up Catholics!

Gravatar GO RON PAUL!!!!
make sure you register to vote and go to your church and talk to people there just ask if they like freedom, we really need to spread the word because the media is not going to help at all, lets do this!

Gravatar I'm no intellectual or politico. I follow apparitions of the Virgin Mary, and I have to say, Ron Paul espouses exactly what She said at Fatima, Betania, and Kibeho.

How fitting that the man to deliver us from 'the errors of Russia', is a 10 term congressman and an obgyn who has DELIVERED over 4,000 babes.
