There are few people on this planet more philosophically and morally opposed to catholicism than myself. It is therefore facinating - is it not? - that I join you whole-heartedly in your support for Ron Paul.
In a truely free society, I have nothing to fear from the religious and they have nothing to fear from a militant agnostic like myself. We merely have to agree on the principle of non-aggression.
That is the principle at the root of everything that Ron Paul is saying.
In a truely free society, debate and/or minding your own business replaces all the violence that darkens our world today.
I thank all of you Catholics-for-Ron-Paul for being on the right side of the most important philosophical fence: the fence that divides liberty lovers from coercion lovers.

That's a really good point John. It's interesting to me after all the "uniter not a divider" talk, the parties are more hostile than ever. Now, here's Ron Paul, who brings together war-protesters, families, pot-smokers, pro-lifers, military people, catholics, libertarians and more. I guess freedom IS popular.

Mr. Howard,
I suspect that if you looked more deeply at Catholicism you would discover much more that you would agree with. Like Ron Paul, Catholicism has been mis-represented in the media.
It is an atheistic myth that Catholicism is coercive, opressive, violent and the source of all wars.
Ron Paul is attacked in the media because his message is TRUE. It reflects the way things really are. Catholicism is attacked for the same reason.
Go Ron Paul!

I would disagree that its an atheist myth; its just a myth. Everybody hates Catholics, but not what Catholicism is, but what they think it is.

(Think Lepanto, the Philippines, and all the other victories attributable to the power ofthe Rosary.)
This is a great idea. I live in Manchester (not Iowa but Britain).I'm not American but something tells me that I have have to join this lovelution. So I shall be praying the rosary along with you all from across the pond.

Actually I've had another idea. After reading the list of people that Ron Paul brings together you can add binge-drinkers as well. For in connection with the Boston tea party theme, I'll become teetotal until the 17-Dec, and donate the money I'll save.
