My first post to Doryman, I only learned about this website about 1 month ago. Here's some of what I have in common with you folks: natural fibers, natural dyeing of wool from plants, rowing, building boats, being an earth sentinel. Please come east and enjoy our Sheep and Wool festival in Howard County MD and I'll take you rowing on any tributary of the Chesapeake Bay you choose. I have 3 Bolger Dorys, a Howard Chapelle 22 ft wooden barge. My daughter raised in Baltimore city was able to raise sheep during middle school just 7 miles from the boathouse she rowed from in high school. Keep making yarn ! Bri in Baltimore
