One of my brothers and I are taking a road trip to the Arctic Ocean in early July. We’re going all the way to the Hudson Bay! Or at least James Bay which is part of the Hudson. Hostile Indians, bears, flies, gas prices, bring it on! We embark early July. Open invite to anyone who wants to join our expedition. In terms of the sparse wild, Alaska don’t have nothin’ on the Hudson Bay. We are going to a Cree village called Chisasibi.

I'm going into a recording studio on May 16th (Friday night) to mix a song I recorded 2 years ago. It's been sitting in the studio for 2 years, and I never did a final mix for it. Man, I'm slow sometimes.
The song is called "Shadow & the Sage." Hopefully it'll sound pretty cool. My friend Marko plays dobro and bass on it, and a guy named Alan plays drums. There's lots of overdubs on it (backing vocals, production gimics, etc). I need to go back and listen to it all, and try to make sense of it.
