We need a viable 3rd political party. Both the Democrats and Republicans can't get out of their own way anymore, and their ranks are polluted by hypocrites. Every 2 weeks there's another John Ensign or John Edwards getting exposed, it seems.
As I've said before, it'd be a national crisis if anyone actually cared.
This is the coolest summer I can ever remember. Where were these summers all those years when I was a roofer.
Dude, Global Warming, at the very least, is a scientific hypothesis that is far from being remotely resolved yet ridiculously politicized.
The Democrats have the world by the balls. But they are going to pay very dearly over their environmental policy (cap and trade) and their half crocked expensive health care scheme that will undoubtedly screw a very large voting demographic hard.
The backlash is going to be epic.
This cooler than usual summer can't be helping Al Gore's fundraisers.
Even if the earth *is* getting warmer, I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing, in the overall scheme of things. What we don't want is another ice age....that's in nobody's interest.

Ckb, that sucks about your wrist. Wow. What terrible timing. I guess all you can do is ice it and keep popping those ibuprofen.
We're packing up today and driving out tomorrow. 8 hours across scenic Wyoming. La da freakin' da. Actually, this time the drive is going to be awesome for 3 reasons: 1. No puppy, 2. Only 2 of 4 kids in car, and 3. 10 hours of the Bio of Shackleton on cd!!!

Hope GKhan's achilles magically re-attaches to his heel. Talk about more terrible pain and timing. He popped it a few days ago (tore it) and can barely walk. We've decided to use the Pontoon from ckb's swim as a kind of sleigh to carry him to and from the lake with palm fronds and grapes on board! Get well soon, Khan and ckb. xoxo
