Up! is Disney/Pixar's latest about a grumpy old guy and his hot-air balloon house. The funny stuff is the story about these dogs and it's actually a very touching movie. I got quite teary as did my kids. Promise me you and K will go see it! It's def. for couples.

Speaking of pits, my friend told me he was watching two dogs and asked if I could come over and let them out. I walk in the house and find two pit bulls staring me down.
My Dad always told us dogs can sense fear. So I was even more freaked out when my voice trembled, "Hi puppies".
You don't say, "Hi puppies" in an effeminate voice to pit bulls.
They were cool though. Went out and did their thing.

Yeah, Sam Mendes's movies are usually very good. He makes movies for adults.
I suspect John Ensign is going to resign soon. The money trail is getting uglier by the minute......$100,000 paid to his mistress's family, and rumors that there's a lot more than that under the rug, too. Nevada's governor is a Republican, so Ensign's replacement would also be a Republican, so the GOP establishment won't have much patience with him.
Went to the Lyric Cinema Cafe last night where they show Indy flicks in a relaxed living-room type venue. It's a Tapas bar w/ drinks and hors d'oeuvres. Saw the movie 'Away We Go' directed by Sam Mendes. I really liked it a lot. Chuck, you should take K to see it - it's about a couple about to have a baby. Funny, touching movie that takes place in the NW, Arizona, Wisconsin, Miami, Montreal and Virginia.
i just realized that video was "volume 4".....
Remember those terrible jobs as a teenager where on the first day they show some corny corporate video? This one takes the cake.
