I took the political compass test a while back. I line up at about 3 pm the left/right, and four on the libertarian/authoritarian. Looks like we sit right next to each other on the chart. But I would have already guessed that

Actually on an objective active scale the authoritarianism aspect isn't too far apart.
This assumes you weight all authoritarianism equally (economic, personal freedom, prvacy, sexuality etc...). The thing is we work on a weighted scale where certain things are more important than others... like life, liberty, and property being more important than sex and drgus
