I can't agree with you 100% on this one. I have enough residual Jewish faith in me to recognize why a Muslim would look upon the desecration of the Koran with horror. I can imagine my reaction to the news that some skinheads had smeared a Torah with shit. I considered the Team Infidel stuff to be mean-spirited.
That said, I do agree with the underlying principle that rioting and promising death over Koran descration is an affront to civilization. They want to denounce you from their mosques, fine. But they have no right to call for your head. Stay frosty and check your six, Chris. Hope you make it out okay.

Problem is... there is a problem with anyone who claims to be Muslim in much the sam way as there is with anyone that proclaims to be liberal (as MS says, liberalism is a mental disorder).
Why? Simple. Mohammed was a murderer, pedophile, and advocated rape. ANYONE who claims to believe in such a person to lead them to salvation has a problem with them and cannot function in society (then or now).
And yes, I mean that there is a problem with ALL muslims, because they all claim to follow him (after all, muslim means one who believs, isn't a secular muslim just an arab? I may be wrong on this though, but that was my understanding). That said, sure I am glad that there are a lot of muslims that think they are following after Mohammed but are really clueless about how he really lived. Oh boy do I love the ignorant, especially when it means that they don't point guns at you.

I'm not sure what you're point is ... something about protesting the Newsweek story. While I would love to spend a few moments belittling you, I think it would be a waste of time. I do think you'll find it interesting that what you may in fact be achieving is increased morale for the Iraqi insurgency and the worldwide salafi jihadist movement. I think your views are somewhat contradictary. Regarding the quote: “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.” I don't think Burke meant that in order for you to not let evil triumph is to do evil yourself. You said you don't want to play by their rules but you are. Their rules is to use violence when they disagree with something: see an idol, destroy it. See idol worshippers, destroy them too. They breed hate. And now you're doing the same too. You're breeding hate for these people thus giving them more hate for you.
I'm not Christian (or muslim) but Jesus got the right idea about fighting hate with compassion. He didn't tell his followers to massacre Romans or the Jews or kill them in their sleep, or take up arms to fight them. It's about loving your neighbor, subduing them with your compassion because understanding that they are still human who has an inherent trait of mercy is more important than killing endless hordes of them.
Hate begets hate. You have the option to continue living in that cycle or break free of it.

Devout Islam is incompatible with America and Americanism; because Islam is both a religion, and a politicial system; and the religion has as it's core imperative the imposition of it's political system on any society with which it comes in contact.
That political system is fundamentally incompatible with everything about America.
So, if you honestly and sincerely believe in Islam, yes you cannot be an American. If you do not, you are apostate and that is not truly Islam; but maybe you could be an American.
absolutely chris. It is either us or islam. Europe is so infiltrated that i consider them already under islam. they are too weak and docile to root out islamic extremism.
