House is great. They had one last season, where house was supposed to pick which one of his doctors got fired. The black doctor said something like "what are you going to do if I get fired?"

House said, "I guess I have to get me another affirmative action hire!"

Yep, it is one of the most UN-PC shows there is.

The funny thing is, Hugh Laurie is an english socialist uber lefty (or at least he was in the 70s and 80s, he may have changed).

Oh and he's ungodly funny. Lord what I wouldnt do for a cameo from Stephen Fry or Rowan Atkinson, or ... god help us all... both.

What's truly amazing about Hugh Laurie is hearing him talk in his normal voice as compared to his character's voice. I saw him on Dennis Miller's show and he said the biggest problem was words with 'R' sounds. If 'House' ever comes out on DVD it will be worth getting just to turn on the commentary so you can hear him do both voices at the same time.

Its a definite experience of cognitive dissonance.

I get the same thing with Guy Pearce, and Julian McMahon (both aussies). Hugh Jackmans isn't as bad though.
