I don't know, Bush doesn't seem like the small gov't type. I doubt he'd appoint a libertarian.


Janice Rogers Brown sitting on the Supreme Court would, I think, be enough even by itself to singlehandedly restore my faith in the future of Constitutional government in the United States.


I'd say Janice is a long shot. He's going to do another pro-constitution conservative that the Dems can't get too up in arms about. That's okay, because it will mean that commerce clause, eminent domain and RKBA cases will have Scalia, Thomas, Roberts, and new guy, as a minimum, voting to uphold the constitution. All they will have to do is swing one of the liberals. It's going to get a lot harder for the liberals to keep sounding very on the ball when they have Roberts, Scalia and Thomas writing beautifully scathing dissents. And I'm willing to bet that at least one of the liberals will ahve to retire in the next three years.
