He's using all the standard crap people use when they don't really understand. Sadly, he should understand by now.
philosopherP, I agree that he should. However, he swears he cannot tell a difference between me now and when I ended up at the hospital. I have no idea how he can see things that way but he does.
They are blind and if it doesn't revolve around sports, sex, or jerry springer, they just don't see the truth... (at least in my case)

All I can say is: he loves you; he really is a good guy underneath, even if he doesn't understand; and it's a good thing he's cute, or his ass would be toast right about now.
Tell him he's being an ass, and that if he wants to trade ANY FRIGGING DAY, you're ready.

I've been absent too much. My mom, who lurks your blog, said you were having a rough time so I made sure to stop in. I am sorry it's getting hard, and the meds aren't working again. And that hubby is having a hard time with it. I hope that you can get it under control, and that the self-awareness helps you recognize when the cliff is looming.

dr. zombieswan, thank your mom for me. I can certainly use all the support I can get.
My doctor added new meds to the mix and so far I'm just exhausted for some time and then manic as ever. I hope that we are able to achieve a level soon. My self-awareness while good for me is also difficult. I know that this is a case where ignorance isn't bliss but some days I would love to just be "up" and not have to care that it is because my brain chemistry is going wild.
