The LCB guy has his own motivational songs to keep kids from drinking. That always trumps things on the frightening scale.

And remember part of the key tenets of calling fraught is you don't know exactly the form of wackiness that will ensue. If you knew exactly, it would mean you wouldn't have to watch.

So someone else has picked up on the 13-year theory of rock history that I've bandied about. (1964, 1977, 1990, 2003?)
Too bad I didn't blog it first.

I don't know if you're still taking tournament suggestions, or if you're kind of burned out at this time, but if and when the "Movie Quote" tourney ends, there should be a "Best Simpsons Quote" contest. With a limit of two per show, because otherwise "Marge vs. the Monorail" would have about 40 entries.
My other suggestion which I never bothered to mail you with before is a "Game of the Century" knockout. Which is the most significant, mostimportant, or just plain hardest fought sporting contest of the 20th century? Single games, races, or matches only, no series allowed. May be too esoteric for many, including myself. I was inspired by an entry in the updated "Ultimate Book of Sports Lists" (which I managed to pay cover price for, in spite of the fact that it was released almost immediately to the remainder table).

Liquidity would be a great name for a Police reunion album (Of course, the reunion tour title would be The Search for More Liquidity).
Rock needs more honesty.

Re Harvey Milk . . .
You're right; they do have to learn how to deal with society. But I think the opposite is more important: How is society going to learn how to accept gays/lesbians/bisexuals/transgenders if they don't grow up alongside them?

Apparantly, someone has started an inferior Marcus Giles fan club at Turner Field. "Marcus' Parkas." Dude, zombies are totally where it's at! Why don't these people understand?
