I'm partial to this one http://www.npr.org/templates/sto...&
sourceCode=RSS. The anchor woman's name is Zurita, making the story even more amusing.

Text of e-mail to the Good Senator:
Dear Senator Santorum:
Regarding your proposal to shut down the public's access to the National Weather Service: Why don't you just stick to hating gays and flooding federal courts with regressive judges that will prop up your out-of-step agenda? Tax dollars are used to fund the National Weather Service, so why shouldn't taxpayers have access to it? It's the weather, not national security. Once again, Republicans side with corporate America at the expense of average citizens and potential new industry. I am currently looking for a new home and would actually consider moving across the river to Pennsylvania just for the privelege of voting against you.
Respectfully,

Interesting to see the Santorum story. A few weeks back, our U.S. Rep. (Louise Slaughter) told an anecdote about a member of Congress who wanted to defund the NWS. (She did not speak his name, but referred to him as being "dumb as a rock"). Since she didn't specify whether this member was in the House or Senate, I presume she meant Mr. Santorum.
Either that, or there's someone ELSE in Congress whose brain would not tax the cranial capacity of a thrips. (Dimwits getting elected to public office? Naaaaahhhhh.....)
