Philadelphia's sporting attention is never on the Phillies. As witnessed by the usual E-A-G-L-E-S chants above my season ticket seats every time the visiting team gets two men on base, the Flyers exit from the playoffs and the Sixers imminent demise just means its 3 months until training camp and the resumption of T.O.: Justice Denied. In other news, anyone interested in a wide receiver? Former 1st round draft pick. Barely used.

I'll never forget the soccer match I saw at the Linc featuring Man U. Some Brits tried to get a 'Manchester!' chant going only to be shouted down by, you guessed it, 'E-A-G-L-E-S! Eagles!'
