I saw the Lions jerseys during the pre-season, and my comment to Jessie was this: "Yeah, those jerseys look weird. They look like they're trying to be Grand Valley State. Wait, it looks like they're trying to PLAY like Grand Valley State if they were in the NFL. Eesh."
The Lions got rid of GVSU alums Curt Anes and David Kircus, didn't they?

I'm about 70% sure its indisputable *video* evidence. Nevertheless I wasn't happy to hear it. Howabout something like a cookie crumbling instead?

Wasn't this the first time the Colts have won in Baltimore since they were, well, from Baltimore?

It was clearly a fumble, based on physics. If the ball is seen to fall, out of control, across the goal line, then Henne did not have control and neither did anyone else until the ND defensive back picked it up.

No one actually saw the ball being fumbled before Henne crossed the goal line. He may not have ended up with the ball, but he very well could have crossed the plane before he fumbled and he very well could have been down before he fumbled. The fact that we cannot prove this beyond a reasonable doubt or find this in video replay is reason enough to let the ruling on the field of Henne being down before the fumble and give Michigan 2nd and Goal on the 1.

Re: Video review. I think refs see something a little different than what we see, but in this case, it seems like they screwed up. It's not the first time, nor will it be the last.
Re: Pitt. I do like seeing this result, given where Pitt's next Friday night game is. :D Everyone points to the BCS season Pitt had last year, but as good as it was, it could have easily ended up a 3-8 season.

Let me also say that I know quite well I am not an impartial observer, I am just of the school that video replay should only correct obvious errors, not "well maybe" errors. End of the day, Michigan did not make enough plays to win and that's all there is to it.

I was at the game and it was horrible. On tv was it seen that the student section was all throwing stuff onto the field? It looked like Coach Carr kept using the same plays and while some of them worked initially, they stoped working and we didn't stop using them.
Oh how I hate the phrase "indisputable visual evidence."
