1. Any time the phrase "Don Majikowski ended it" is not indicative of something good. In fact, any mention of Don Majikowski doing something is not an indication of something good.

2. When you say about having not won in Washington since the Roosevelt administration, which one do you mean--Teddy or Franklin? After all, with the Lions, anything's possible.

3. It doesn't get much worse than losing 9-7 to Cleveland, so this Raiders fan feels your pain. We suck too, but we don't suck enough to get a decent draft pick (though we'd probably waste a top-5 draft pick on a lineman or something useless like that). If only we never traded Jon Gruden for MAGIC BEANS!

A few thoughts:

1) I concur completely on The West Wing. There's a VP Debate coming up on January 8th. In a sad parallel, Leo says "The first sign of a heart attack is usually that you're dead".

2) As a huge Bulls fan, I have to give you credit on this one. You're just making up for the Bears-Lions, I guess, although the Bulls are still a playoff team. I'll wait until next summer.

3) NYC Transit Strike. Just wonderful. Not really, but I had to say something about it.
