1. I like Glycerine better. Bitch it is. She was pretty cute anyways. Go her.
2. Sting. I hate hate HATE the Cardigans.
3. Folk Implosion. Duncan Sheik opened for Ben Folds at the State Theater in Detroit. It was the funniest thing ever. I told people I was gonna start a Duncan Sheik cover band. Ask Geoff and my friend Gordon about it. Bill Simmons would have had a field Day.
4. You Oughta Know, although i oughta know why Alanis Morrissette (Coulier, almost) couldn't choose Supper to rhyme with "are you thinking of me when you fuck her" instead of dinner. But whatever.

The choices here are all lesser evils (save Sting).
1. Machinehead. And Lilith Fair begat Meredith, and there was much wailing and gnashing of teeth.
2. Sting. The Department of State should spend less time on Iraq and more time on increasing Swedish export control licenses to avoid this, Ace of Base, and Roxette.
3. Natural One. Duncan's just whiny.
4. Jewel's best song, but Alanis just stamps her with the mashing and the crushing and the Northern Lights are soooo pretty....

I vote for Bush. I can't believe something caused me to utter those four words in that order.
I have a soft spot for Lovefool. So I'm picking it. Besides, the Cardigans covered "Iron Man." I don't think Ace of Base could ever do that.
Oncoming traffic.
Alanis. Jewel wouldn't go down on me in a theater. Not that Alanis would either, but, hey, a guy can dream, right? Ah, never mind.

blech. Oncoming Traffic. The scary thing is Bush probably shows up twice more.
"Lovefool." The Cardigans and Björk are the two saving graces of Scandopop.
'Natural One"
Should be another Oncoming Traffic situation, but I didn't get sick of "You Oughta Know" until the second time I heard it.

1.) Not crazy about either. I think I have to vote against Meredith Brooks on principle.
2.) I gotta give some love to the Cardigans on Phil's behalf. But I'd be happy with whichever one goes on.
3.) Folk Implosion should / kick Duncan Sheik's whiny ass / but I doubt they will.
4.) Put me down for oncoming traffic. (The sad thing is, I did like both of these songs at the time. But I had an excuse. I was 14.)
