Unless it does this without the users input, I'd be hard pushed to call this an infection, unlike the Windows version.

You are correct; it is not an infection unless you have autoplay for CDs on. And even then, I'm not sure that Apple's current software runs Start.app on an auto-run CD or not.

But if nothing else, it shows Sony's intent. And if it doesn't run Start.app, what is it there for?
