Gravatar What happens when the stats become skewed by 2000 people dying in airplanes each year from people blowing them up?

The stats you cite above are skewed because the reflect 80 years of history.

As any good economist knows, decisions are made at the margin. And the probability of death in an airplane higher now.

People should really be worried about checked baggage.... that's the impossible problem.

I do agree that these recent measures do nothing but maintain the illusion of safety.

Gravatar I'll wager the odds of being killed by a police officer eclipses that of a 'terrorist' by far.

Do you have the figures on that, Carl? It would provide a startling contrast to the Jew media entertainment combine's perception management perspective.

Gravatar Current death rates on airplanes are actually at multi-year lows. And remember that the article I cited is using a statistic that assumes a September 11 event EVERY YEAR. So your 2000 deaths a year is in the model -- and you still have a higher probability of being hit by a bus crossing the street.

Regarding being killed by a police officer, I don't know those statistics, so it is hard to comment. But it would be an interesting statistic to compute in this dialog.

Thanks for the comments!
Carl
