Good points, though I'm most enthused by Apple's movement, albeit very slowly, into the Web - both via iWeb and .Mac. Though only the iLife-to-.Mac Web Gallery-to-iPhone links were mentioned, the coming .Mac link to the AppleTV is obvious.
But what's with the name .Mac Web Gallery? It sounds like something Microsoft would've come up with.

"By integrating iPhoto, iMovie, and iWeb with its .Mac Web service in deep and easy-to-use ways, Apple has raised the bar again"
Indeed. To my knowledge, MSFT has yet to simply beat their Windows Movie Maker into a useful product-- never mind integration.
In the early eighties, ironically, businesses had amazing (for the time) Big Iron computers and consumers had, at best, Commodores or the like. In the 21st century, the situation is wholly inverted: (smarter) consumers have gleaming Macs with amazing capabilities and software; businesses have awful, insecure, barely functional Windows-infested dinosaur PC's, which they have to annually spend billions supporting. So they can run-- Outlook-- which nobody likes anyway? Astounding. And very, very sad.
