Gravatar I think you guys are onto something with the single window interface idea. Apple is definitely moving towards having that as an option for every app (see drawers becoming integrated into windows, for example)...but they've also put tons of work over the last few years into making drag & drop work better, and Spaces can be seen as kind of a window manager. What need would we have for Spaces if they were getting rid of windows?

Core Animation will definitely be at the heart of the revolution, as will the ability for developers to deploy to more platforms/devices. They're already preparing for this with the iPhone. Should be an amazing keynote whatever else they do on top of that. Thanks for keeping imagination alive in the Mac Universe!!!

Gravatar I have no idea what the actual interface will be, but I can say that while all the discussion a year ago was about "Time Machine" and all the other things that had been shown, or about all the "secret" things, I said that core animation was the biggest thing Leopard had going. Both for Apple and for developers. I still think so. It will open many doors.

Gravatar Check out Apple's demo of it, to get a real taste:

Gravatar Sounds like a Delicious time to be a Mac developer ... and a Mac user!
