You will notice that these same "DVR" Automator actions are in present in a standard install of 10.4 and on my 10.4.9 system haven't been altered since March, 2005. Finder get info associates them with iDVD on my machine. my .02: wishful thinking regarding the DVR abilities.

I hear you. Turns out they are normal Quicktime actions (at least that's what my son says). But I still find it intriguing in an OS version that was customized for Apple TV that they would leave those functions in.....

All I can say is, it's a curious feature.
