The bulk of your E61i complaints revolve around software, which can (and often is) updated. If your issues irk enough other users, Nokia will make corrections.
As for the ear bud problem, you're only partly correct. Nokia also provides small adapters to go from their proprietary pop-port to standard phono jacks. Not the best solution, I admit, but a useable one nonetheless.
It pays to fully research a product before reviewing. ; )

I don't think it was intended to be. It's not in the same class of device, so comparing the two is a bit silly.
I've been using this phone for couple of months. I have a Blackberry connect add-on for email. All I can tall you - don't trust this review. Phone is stable and quite fast. Browsing is a pleasure. I have tones of software installed from mosh.nokia.com . iPhone is just a nice interface - that's it.
