Gravatar No question Sony has leadership in the TV space but as you point out, their Achilles' heel is that they think you will only ever purchase Sony products. They tend to be too proprietary with things which makes me think of the "Internet TV" features as trying to capitalize on a fad than anything more substantial. Now I should probably shut up because I haven't looked at it in depth yet but I can't imagine "Sony’s Digital Media Extender (DMeX)" is interesting because "The feature will give users access to select Internet video". Select video? I have Terrabytes of HD content on my home server and I want to stream that, not what Sony wants me to see. At this point, a hacked AppleTV is still the best "Internet/TV crossover" device I have seen.
