Was thinking the same thing a couple of weeks ago, bought a small, external, Seagate usb drive and the whole presentation was really nice...very Applesque.
That said, there was no mention of Mac usage in the docs and it has a very wierd, two-ended cable with no mention why. It works with just one end plugged in, on a Mac anyway.
