Doesn't seem anyone is willing to blog their complaints about being cut off at the knees by Sony.
They're probably just too embarrassed to admit not having purchased an iPod in the first place.
With just Sandisk selling WMA players in volume, this seems like a precursor to what may happen with non-Zune WMA stores in the future...

Sadly, this is one of the evils of DRM -- if the manufacturer decides to exit the music business, you're hosed. All the more reason that Apple's adoption of iTunes Plus, DRM-free tracks is a good idea.
