Very interesting idea about Starbucks as the vehicle for Apple's "feet on the street" in Europe. They do sell iPods in Europe largely without Apple stores though so how much does brick and mortar presence in Europe matter? I think quite a bit, especially when you are talking about phones. Look at the iPod marketshare in Europe.
But might the mobile carriers be the ones to include a "store within a store" for Apple? I would think that would be a big part of the negotiations. It'll be interesting to see.
