I wouldn't want to be left holding the bag when people figure out than Blackberries are the new 8-track tape; obsolete and worthless.
As for China: Ballmer's trying the same tactic. When your primary markets show stress, see if you can sucker the third world into buying your shiny baubles.

I love these emotional responses. Last time I checked Apple's strategy was to go into one carrier in each country. So unless you are telling me every mobile phone user will switch to the iPhone carrier in the respectve country, your comment is just plain stupid.
The Blackberry will thrive along with the iPhone. I own both for different reasons and am very happy with the returns over the last several years. Take your negative attitude elsewhere.
