While Milan is an obvious site for a store, the Italian Apple store is in Rome.

"Europe is already a more style-conscious and mobile phone-centric consumer base than the US"
That's why they don't care about the crippled shite iPhone (except Mactards and fashion lemmings).

I guess the number of Apple Retail stores is correct, yet alone in Bilbao, North of Spain, there are three Apple specific stores.
They are not "official Apple retail stores", but they only sell Apple, train users and have certified engineers to repair hardware.
This is where I expect to be buying the iPhone, no way I'm flying to Milan. They also look the same in style/design to photos of US stores.
Dennis is exagerating the situation. If there were no Apple stores at all, how the hell do Europeans buy Macs?

Thanks for the correction on the Italian store. They are going to open one in Milan, but currently the only continental store is in Rome. There's also one scheduled for Paris.
