Hey Carl -- how does this match up to your logarithmic growth curves. Is growth still slowing? Must be if they're behind your projections.

Ummm. There's no way you can claim that growth is slowing; iTunes song growth is actually accelerating fairly dramatically. It took a year to go from 1 to 2 billion songs. 2 to 3 billion songs took 9 months. I predict 3 to 4 will take 6 months.

So sorry, Josh, no slowdown in sight.

I read 100% growth in one year, 50% growth in 9 months, 25% growth in 6 months (by your estimate). So growth rate is slowing, even if the absolute curve is accelerating. Clearly there is a theoretical limit -- but where is it?
